Entrepreneurialism
We are starting our brand new Entrepreneurialism Series on Monday, April 8! Stephanie Renk from Idaho Next Steps Life & Career Coaching, Irene Gonzalez from U.S. Small Business Association, and Dan Leavitt CPA from Idaho Tax and Consulting Services Inc will be co-hosting throughout the month!

What: Writing a Business Plan

Dreaming of owning your own business? Make it a reality by drafting a business plan! It’s a essential to understand the basics of your business (products/services, customers, competitions, finances, and more!). It will serve as your roadmap.

Determine your startup costs to start your dream business. Calculate the right amount to finance and to invest . An overview will be provided to help you assess what factors should be considered.

Learn where and how to use your research to build your business plan and the importance of starting your business with a sturdy foundation. Topics include Self-Evaluation, Resources, Business Plans, Preparing for a Lender, and Marketing!

What: Intro to Quickbooks
When: April 29 5:30-7:00pm
Where: Idaho Next Steps Coaching office
During this workshop, you will learn to efficiently manage your business finances using QuickBooks. This workshop will provide hands-on instructions and guidance. Please bring your own laptop to sign into your account.
Professional Skills
April's Professional Skills Series, we are sponsoring Improv Basics w/Megan Bryant.
What: "Yes, And" Improv Principles for Personal & Professional Growth
When: This is a 4-week series on Wednesdays: April 3, 10, 17, 24 from 6-8:30pm
Where: Idaho Next Steps Coaching office.
Improv Skills will help you feel more confident thinking on your feet, learn new ways to brainstorm and unlock creativity, and level up your communication skills personally and professionally. This class begins April 3rd and runs for 4 consecutive Wednesdays, concluding on April 24th. Plan on attending ALL FOUR SESSIONS.

Irene is an Economic Development Specialist within the Boise District who provides support to communities and businesses. She collaborates with community organizations, city, state and federal departments to outreach to the community to expand economic development, and bridge connection with businesses and the general public.

Megan Bryant
Comedian, Speaker, Author, & Improve Trainer
Megan is a jack-of-all trades, from comedian, speaker, author, and improve trainer. She does it all! She has a special collection of skills that showcase her love of performance and creativity while opening up dialogue around raw and real life topics.

Dan Leavitt, CPA
Certified Public Accountant & Owner
Idaho Tax and Consulting Services Inc.
Dan is the owner of Idaho Tax and Consulting Services Inc. and has been an accounting since graduating from Boise State University in 2008. After spending several years in corporate accounting and the hospitality industry, he became a small-business owner in 2013. Dan offers accounting and bookkeeping services including tax preparation and payroll.
