I have always enjoyed helping others. I was lucky to start my professional career in 2009 when I joined Veterans Upward Bound, a program focused on assisting veterans prepare for a postsecondary program. In 2012, my husband and I moved to Boston, MA and I worked at UMass Medical School and Biogen. I became an Administrative Team Lead and I provided professional development opportunities, career planning, personal one-on-one training, goal setting, and more. For 10 years, I was also involved on the business-side of setting up job role postings, interviewing, hiring, and training new employees for various roles.

In 2018, after returning to Idaho, I founded Idaho Next Steps Coaching, endeavoring to provide the Treasure Valley community with resume writing services and career coaching opportunities. Since then, I have enjoyed working with clients from various industries and backgrounds to define their job searching goals and help them succeed in landing interviews and new roles.

I am a Certified Processional Career Coach (CPCC) and a Certified Professional Resume Writer (CPRW) through the Professional Association of Resume Writers and Career Coaches (PARWCC). I am also Vice President of the International Coaching Federation (ICF) High Country Chapter (previously Programs Chair) and a member of the Human Resources Association of the Treasure Valley (HRATV) and the Idaho Career Development Association (IDCA).

I also hold an MBA from Northwest Nazarene University and a BBA in Business Management from Boise State University. I live in Meridian with my husband and son where we enjoy camping, snowboarding, golfing, traveling, and spending time with family. If I'm not outside, I'm reading a good book in a comfy chair.

I am a Certified Professional Resume Writer (CPRW) and a member of the Professional Association of Resume Writers and Career Coaches (PARWCC). I am also a member of the Idaho Career Development Association and the International Coaching Federation (ICF) High Country Chapter.

I hold a Bachelor of Arts in Organization Communication from the University of South Florida. My favorite aspect of education in Organizational & Speech Communications has been writing! I am thrilled to be helping others tell their unique stories. I always knew I would utilize my enthusiasm for writing in some fashion to help others, and by creating and tailoring Application Tracking System (ATS) friendly Resumes and Cover Letters, I get to do just that. What a rewarding feeling!

As a Communications & Customer Service Leader, I have always had a passion for helping others and being an active participant in their decision-making process on any level, always with an empathic touch. It is incredible how one job role can lead to wearing many hats and teach you skills you never knew you would end up learning, growing, and sharing with others in your everyday professional life! I love nothing more than to coach and help others figure out who they are and what gives them a sense of self-expression.

I live in Meridian, Idaho with my husband and two sons where we enjoy hiking, playing music, spending time with family, and traveling. When I have down-time, I am passionate about writing and recording music.

Cooper, Professional Mascot

My name is Cooper and I am a five-year-old Golden Retriever Labrador mix who is responsible for keeping Stephanie and Vera on track by falling asleep at their feet, making it possible for them to be distracted from their research and writing. I keep them company each day while they work with their amazing clients. I enjoy playing fetch, eating snacks, napping, and notifying the ladies that someone is at the door. I do not attend client meetings.
